For supporters and participants, "Girls Can Do Anything!" is not just a slogan — it's an empowering agenda. On Saturday, Oct. 21, over 200 girls from Delaware, southern Pennsylvania and Salem County, New Jersey, along with their parents and mentors, will convene in Wilmington for the 11th annual Girls Can Do Anything! conference.
Organized by One Village Alliance, the event aims to inspire young participants to change the way society sees girls. Through group mentoring and structured support, Girls Can Do Anything! offers girls ages 9 to 18 experiences to broaden societal expectations.
Taking place at the One Village Alliance Center in Wilmington, the Girls Can Do Anything! conference kicks off the initiative's year-round programming dedicated to empowering girls worldwide. This year's conference will be hosted by NBA social media content creator Mesha Mosley and feature guest speakers from around the country and West Africa.
